Ben and Alex are back one last time to close the book on The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 3, turning the microphones over to the Zedheads for their thoughts on the finale, “Tenebrae,” and the season as a whole.
This week, they dig into a huge batch of listener feedback while revisiting Maggie and Negan’s remarkable evolution, Hershel’s transformation into one of the season’s biggest surprises, the impact of characters like Luis, Renata and Dillard, and why the seemingly disconnected pieces of the season ultimately came together to tell a much bigger story. Along the way, they unpack some fantastic callbacks and symbolism listeners caught, debate what a potential Season 4 could look like, and speculate about whether Dead City could eventually become a meeting point for characters from across the larger Walking Dead universe.
Most importantly, Ben and Alex take some time to thank everyone who watched, listened, wrote in, called, theorized, disagreed, overthought things and went off on countless tangents with them throughout the season. The Dead City coverage may be finished for now, but the Zedheads made this season one hell of a ride.
And yes... there are still plenty of completely unnecessary tangents along the way.
