[00:00:00] 3. Dr. K. Our Friend Margaret 4. Dr. K. Our Friend Margaret 4. Dr. K. Our Friend Margaret 5. Dr. K. Previously, on Welcome to the Apocalypse 6. Dr. K. Hi! My name is Dr. K. 7. Dr. K. Our Friend Margaret 8. Dr. K. I'm not 100% confident that cutting off her arm
[00:00:16] 9. Dr. K. I think that you got the amputation in time 9. Dr. K. Good! 9. Dr. K. Are you guys hungry? 9. Dr. K. This Kate person seems like she's just gonna make us higher and higher until we can't move and then she's gonna eat our body
[00:00:29] 10. Dr. K. Oh no! I know you think I'm gonna eat you. I'm a vegetarian 11. Dr. K. Oh! You had me there for a moment 12. Dr. K. Even if you drugged us without our consent, you're pretty cool Kate 13. Dr. K. Thanks man! Look at that! It's a map!
[00:00:41] 14. Dr. K. I see that there is a big giant circle that says Safe Zone, California 15. Dr. K. I say we hit the road and start finding all of these virus centers 16. Dr. K. Yeah, I hope that we also get to have some fun along the way
[00:00:53] 17. Dr. K. I'm down the road 18. Dr. K. I love driving down the road 19. Dr. K. In a big fire truck tank 19. Dr. K. Yes! I need some 19. Dr. K. You've been singing it for quite a while now Adam, do you think you could try something new?
[00:01:15] 19. Dr. K. Just anything! 20. Dr. K. Once you've got it perfect, I need it 21. Dr. K. Why change it? 22. Dr. K. What if we tried... the radio doesn't work anymore 23. Dr. K. No Margaret, no 22. Dr. K. What if you just shut up for a little bit angry Adam?
[00:01:27] 23. Dr. K. Whoa! Whoa! 23. Dr. I'm sorry I... 24. Dr. K. More like angry Margaret. 23. Dr. What? 24. Dr. Am I right? 24. Dr. We've been on the road for so long and I... 24. Dr. K. I need to stretch my legs 25. Dr. K. I think we need to take a break
[00:01:40] 26. Dr. K. I don't know guys, I mean 26. Dr. K. I mean we just left that house filled with zombies 27. Dr. K. It was very frightening and it's been a week since we were 27. Dr. K. at the weed place and I think it's out of our systems
[00:01:51] 27. Dr. K. But we did have that frightening experience 27. Dr. K. And I'm not sure I want to stop again but 28. Dr. K. I wasn't that scared for the record 29. Dr. K. I've got an idea 29. Dr. K. What's that? 30. Dr. K. Elizabeth, it seems like 31. Dr. Your anxiety sometimes
[00:02:04] 31. Dr. K. just gets a hold of you 31. Dr. K. and you kind of lose control 31. Dr. K. so... 32. Dr. K. It's true 31. Dr. K. Perhaps there's a way 31. Dr. K. angry Adam and I could assist you with this 31. Dr. K. So... 32. Dr. Oh!
[00:02:16] 31. Dr. K. I think when I notice your anxiety 31. Dr. K. start to spike 31. Dr. K. I'll make a special sound 31. Dr. K. to alert you to it 31. Dr. K. and angry Adam 31. Dr. K. perhaps you could come up with the sound 31. Dr. You make like a gunshot sound
[00:02:32] 31. Dr. K. I don't know if you're... 31. Dr. K. That's like a pretty... 31. Dr. K. that's like a pretty relaxing sound for me 31. Dr. K. Well, I'm not sure it would work with me 31. Dr. K. but we can pretend to shoot 31. Dr. K. at you and you get anxious
[00:02:42] 31. Dr. K. How about this? 31. Dr. K. He gets anxious, I fire a gun in the air 31. Dr. K. Okay, so... 31. Dr. K. let's one way 31. Dr. K. and how about 31. Dr. K. I will make this sound 31. Dr. K. Ooh! 31. Dr. K. Ooh!
[00:02:57] 31. Dr. K. And what is that supposed to do, Margaret? 31. Dr. K. Is it supposed to remind me that I'm upsetting everyone around me? 31. Dr. K. Sort of a grounding exercise 31. Dr. K. Yes, it's... 31. Dr. K. To give you a moment to reflect on
[00:03:08] 31. Dr. K. what's going on around you and realize 31. Dr. K. you're surrounded by friends and family 31. Dr. K. Oh! Okay, um... 31. Dr. K. Oh! I like that idea 31. Dr. K. Ooh! 31. Dr. K. I hope that you were... 31. Dr. K. Ooh! 31. Dr. K. Was I getting anxious just there?
[00:03:22] 31. Dr. K. Do I shoot my gun or no? 31. Dr. K. Hold off on the gun. 31. Dr. K. We're still in the fire truck angry Adam. 31. Dr. K. All right, all right. 31. Dr. K. That was just a test of the emergency system.
[00:03:32] 31. Dr. K. I think we have it down though. 31. Dr. K. Okay! 31. Dr. K. Look! Look out the window you guys! 31. Dr. K. Whoa! 31. Dr. K. What's that? 31. Dr. K. It's a mall! 31. Dr. K. Wow! 31. Dr. K. It's... 31. Dr. K. It's beautiful!
[00:03:47] 31. Dr. K. I haven't seen a mall in ages! 31. Dr. K. Maybe I could get a third leather jacket. 31. Dr. K. I have to tell you... 31. Dr. K. Um... 31. Dr. K. I think my anxiety attacks during the before times
[00:04:00] 31. Dr. K. Often what helped me was a little retail therapy. 31. Dr. K. And I would usually just lock myself in the bathroom 31. Dr. K. At the hospital, um... 31. Dr. K. Lock a stall and do some online shopping. 31. Dr. K. But since that is not an option anymore...
[00:04:11] 31. Dr. K. Do you guys think we could go to this mall? 31. Dr. K. Yes! 31. Dr. K. Yes! 31. Dr. K. Shopping Trip! 31. Dr. K. Shopping Trip! 31. Dr. K. Shopping Trip! 31. Dr. K. Shopping Trip! 31. Dr. K. Shopping Trip! 31. Dr. K. Okay! Okay, let's park the fire truck!
[00:04:28] 31. Dr. K. Oh, right up pulling our butts! Big parking lot! 31. Dr. K. Oh, yeah! The peak of the spots! 31. Dr. K. Strangely empty! 31. Dr. K. Don't forget to bring your guns! I think we should each bring two! 31. Dr. K. Oh, I always got my guns!
[00:04:41] 31. Dr. K. Although I have to say, I'm really liking how over the past week 31. Dr. K. We've sort of perfected our technique for taking out the zombies. 31. Dr. K. Yeah, we're almost getting too good at it! It's starting to become mundane!
[00:04:51] 31. Dr. K. And Margaret, I think that meat hook we attached to your arm 31. Dr. K. at the last stop is really helping slashing their brains! 31. Dr. K. I know! And look how badass I look now! 31. Dr. K. It looks so badass!
[00:05:02] 31. Dr. K. Okay, let's get in there! I could use some badass clothing! 31. Dr. K. Yeah! Moving out! 31. Dr. K. Okay! You got the front, Adam? 31. Dr. K. I'm moving! I'm taking... Oh, there's nothing to take cover behind. 31. Dr. K. I guess I'll just walk more and move.
[00:05:18] 31. Dr. K. There's a few ghouls but they're pretty far away but... 31. Dr. K. I feel kind of naked when I'm not taking cover. 31. Dr. K. Behind some... like, you know... 31. Dr. K. Here! Adam! 31. Dr. K. Waste height debris. 31. Dr. K. You can walk behind me!
[00:05:30] 31. Dr. K. Okay! Taking cover behind Elizabeth! 31. Dr. K. Yeah! 31. Dr. K. Okay! Here we go! 31. Dr. K. Oh! We made it to the door! 31. Dr. K. We really didn't need to park that far away from the door, I guess. 31. Dr. K. What are you thinking about, Adam?
[00:05:45] 31. Dr. K. I just... you know, what if someone... someone might ding the door? 31. Dr. K. You never parked that close. 31. Dr. Okay! Fair enough. How do... oh... this door's locked. 31. Dr. K. Oh! Adam. 31. Dr. K. Wow! I gotta tell me, Dwight. 31. Dr. K. Hold on!
[00:05:59] 31. Dr. K. Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! No! No! This one's locked too! Okay! 31. Dr. K. Oh! Okay! All right! Here we go. 31. Dr. K. And I can't get down! Let's go! It's my signature move! 31. Dr. K. Okay! Oh! There's some zombies over there on the left!
[00:06:10] 31. Dr. K. Quick! Shoot them! 31. Dr. K. Oh! Oh! That was... that was easy! 31. Dr. K. Yeah! 31. Dr. K. We're getting really good at this. 31. Dr. K. Oh! Cause... I don't... 31. Dr. K. Let's go shopping! 31. Dr. K. Okay! I think we should stick together though, just in case.
[00:06:30] 31. Dr. K. Yes. 31. Dr. K. All right! We got... we got an urban outfitted. 31. Dr. K. Ooh! That sounds cool! I'm urban outfitted. 31. Dr. K. Mm-hmm. 31. Dr. K. You know, one of the benefits to living in this apocalypse is that
[00:06:45] 31. Dr. K. We don't really have to worry about fast fashion anymore, like, ah... 31. Dr. K. Any of the poor, you know, oppressed peoples who made this fast fashion, um, 31. Dr. K. They're probably zombies by now. 31. Dr. K. Yeah!
[00:06:57] 31. Dr. K. So I feel much better with my conscience about wearing these things. 31. Dr. K. That is... we did agree we're going to look on the brighter side of the apocalypse 31. Dr. K. and I forgot my purse, so I guess we'll...
[00:07:08] 31. Dr. K. We'll just be borrowing some of these things. 31. Dr. K. Oh! Shoplifting! 31. Dr. K. I hitherto have not considered the ethics, and I will continue 31. Dr. K. to not consider the ethics of the situation.
[00:07:18] 31. Dr. K. Hey, Margaret and I will agonize over it for the... for all three of us. 31. Dr. K. Yes. 31. Dr. K. Hey look you guys! Look down the end of the mall there! 31. Dr. K. It's a movie theater! 31. Dr. K. Oh!
[00:07:28] 31. Dr. Do you remember... do you remember going to the movies? 31. Dr. K. Oh! I loved it! 31. Dr. I love the movies. 31. Dr. Do you think we should go in there and see if there's a movie playing or something? 31. Dr. K. Last movie I saw was Mad Max.
[00:07:41] 31. Dr. K. Didn't really... really care for it. 31. Dr. Not even thinking. 31. Dr. He's a little... 31. Dr. Oh! I... 31. Dr. K. I thought that would be right up your alley. 31. Dr. K. I just see him you know in his little lane.
[00:07:50] 31. Dr. K. He could you know maybe use a little punch up on the name. 31. Dr. K. I don't... 31. Dr. K. Here oh I see. 31. Dr. K. Angry Adam. 31. Dr. K. Okay can we just do a little... can we just... can you humor me and let's 31. Dr. K. Yes.
[00:08:00] 31. Dr. K. Let's just run over to the movie theater for now. 31. Dr. K. I mean I don't know if you two have noticed but the power is still on in here. 31. Dr. K. That's very weird! 31. Dr. Dr. We could potentially watch any movie we wanted.
[00:08:10] 31. Dr. K. Like the one where the train comes right at the screen. 32. Dr. K. What's that? 33. Dr. K. Is that your favorite movie mark? 31. Dr. K. When I was a kid? Okay let's go! 31. Dr. K. Okay but quick quick, here we go.
[00:08:23] 32. Dr. K. At the end we don't have to get out there. 31. Dr. K. Okay it just... it feels as if we're always in danger I don't... 31. Dr. K. Okay. 31. Dr. K. Okay just saunter. 32. Dr. K. No no I'm gonna walk more casual like try that.
[00:08:37] Okay, um, alright let's open the door. Please, after me! Sorry, sorry, sorry about my hook. There you go. After me! I just did a little flash. Hello? What was that? Hello guys. Hello? Hello? Quick someone turn on the light. I've got it. I've actually. Oh, good. Better choice.
[00:09:06] Nika! There's- Who are you guys? Ah, I think that's a kid. Um, little child. Are you alone? Yeah. You're alone at the movies? Yeah, my parents were here but they left and said they would come back.
[00:09:26] It's been a week and I don't know when they're coming back or after coming back. They could come back. Sometimes, you know, you go to the bathroom and it gets real bad in there. They could come back. Um, what have you been eating?
[00:09:41] Just the popcorn and like the pizza and hot dogs and nachos. That actually sounds like a kid dream. Yeah, wow. What's your name? My name is George. George? Hello George. Hi George, how old are you? I'm 11. Oh, okay. Well, not a baby. Responsible adult. He's coming up. Yeah.
[00:10:07] Hey, come on over here George. Do you need a little bit of a hug? My name is Elizabeth and I used to be a pediatric nurse. So I do feel like you might be aging out of my wing and unit soon.
[00:10:23] So I'm not as familiar with the older children but I think I can at least give you a little cuddle. Can I give you a cuddle little George? I guess. Do you guys think it's okay if I give this kid a cuddle?
[00:10:35] Yes, I think, well, you know what? Okay George. Oh, there. Look at him, he's smiling. You guys, he's so skinny. Um, young man, I'm going to pinch his cheek. Look at that little, sorry, sorry. I'll pinch with my real hand, not my hook.
[00:10:55] Great, you're gonna have to finger this. Got all kinds of blood on that. Why do you have a claw for a ham? Oh, um, well, um... Some people are born like that. Yes, I was born like this. We're good people. Yeah, we're normal. Do we?
[00:11:15] Yeah, um, I think it's important to be honest with children, Margaret and Adam. So it's something I learned in one of the psychology classes that I took for one of my more advanced degrees that I never got to finish because the world ended.
[00:11:27] Um, but listen, child, uh, George, you said your name is Georgie. Uh, what happened was Margaret was eaten by a zombie, her arm was bitten by a zombie, and then I chopped it off, um, using an axe. I cauterized the wound. It was pretty cool.
[00:11:43] Hey kid, look at this little baby flame throw. Very neat. Oh no, George, don't, you don't have to back away, it's fine. Like Margaret said, we're really good people, we're very safe.
[00:11:51] And then we found this meat hook at a meat processing plant that we visited a few days ago, um, and we did manage to find some rancid meat, and um, we didn't eat it, but we did find this meat hook which we attached to Margaret's arm.
[00:12:07] And now she has a hook arm which is really helpful in smashing in the brains of zombies. Uh-huh. That sounds scary. What? Do you think this hook is scary? This isn't scary. I'm just, I'm gonna put it right in front of your face so you can see.
[00:12:23] See, this isn't scary. Uh, Margaret, he's backing away again. Oops, sorry George, sorry. I'm getting used to this arm too. So George, you've just been moving in the theater by yourself? Yeah, I just been like walking around some of the stores,
[00:12:40] but mostly I've been staying in the movie theater. Have you seen any other people? No. Seen any uh, seen any good movies? No. No? That's just a point. Oh, that's true. The apocalypse did start just as there was a real low period of film, yeah.
[00:12:58] Have you had to deal with any of the zombies? No. No? Have you seen any? Yeah, but they were only outside the window. Whoa, you know, from my experience of watching um, a limited amount of uh, like zombie media,
[00:13:15] like zombie movies and stuff, malls are usually a real hotbed. Yeah, we have uh, pretty light sprinkling of zombies. Well this place is like sort of out of town, so I mean, not many people come here. They did build way too many malls.
[00:13:32] Yeah, this is on the Yeltskirts. Um, did your family come here a lot George? Yeah. And then they left you here? Yeah, they said they would come back but I don't know if they will. So you've just been waiting? Yeah.
[00:13:49] Do you want to hang out with us today where we were thinking of doing some shopping, maybe you could show us around? Sure. What's your favorite store? The Lego store. There's a Lego store here. Oh my god, there's a Lego store.
[00:14:07] You gotta go to the Lego store guys. Okay, everybody calm down. I'm already going to the Lego store. Okay, we're gonna, George you're gonna have to follow us. Sometimes Angry Adam just goes and we have to keep up with him. Okay let's go.
[00:14:20] Okay take us to the Lego store. Angry Adam! Yeah. You need to wait, you don't even know where it is. I'm just kind of intuiting it. I think he's using a scent. It's downstairs. I knew that. I knew that. I definitely, yeah that's where I was going.
[00:14:40] Look, the escalators are still working. That's creepy and weird. It's my favorite part of them all though. The escalator is just a speed boost. I'm gonna run down the stairs. Oh no, slow down. He's going to hurt himself again. Woo.
[00:14:56] George how many times have you ridden the escalators? Maybe... You must have been keeping count. Maybe one-y? I don't know. What? Okay, best score I think. He's an experienced rider. So how much further is the Lego store?
[00:15:13] I think it's a couple more stores and then it's to the left. If you guys don't mind, you guys can go into the Lego store. I might just check out this lasenza because I am in dire need of some underwear that isn't thongs
[00:15:29] because I was very badly prepared when everything went down. It was laundry day, yadda yadda yadda. I don't know how it is. So I'm just gonna pop into this lasenza store and you guys have fun with the Lego.
[00:15:43] Okay, I'm probably gonna swing back by there a little bit later. You know, being a modern woman and all. But first Legos. George show us where these Legos are. Okay, the Legos are right here. Oh my god. Did you build all of these?
[00:16:02] Yeah, I was kind of bored. Wow. That's really cool. This Lego castle is almost six feet tall. And I got some string and attached all the planes and Star Wars ships to the top. Wow, you're for kid in the apocalypse. You're having a heck of a week.
[00:16:26] I know. I really love Legos. Dude, I totally understand right now. I see, oh you got like a good mix here. I know what I have a vision. It's T-Rex wearing sunglasses. He's gotta go. I'm gonna build them. Alright, you do whatever.
[00:16:46] I'm just gonna build this cool Lego. Okay, I'm gonna go in the back and see what they have. Maybe some new stuff. Oh yeah, maybe they recently got a delivery. Why don't you go back there and see what there is
[00:17:01] and I'll help Angry Adam with this for a moment. Okay. Um, Angry Adam? Yeah Margaret. What are we going to do about this child who has no parents in the apocalypse? I'm kind of, you know, taking things one thing at a time.
[00:17:20] I'm kind of focused on my dinosaur Legos right now. Okay. I'm gonna kick that one down the road Margaret. Wee, wee. Margaret? Oh, yes. Yeah, I'm back with, it sure has been pretty picked over but I did get some more comfortable zombie fighting underwear.
[00:17:38] Were you talking about what we're gonna do about George? Yes, I was, I'm quite concerned about this. The apocalypse is no place for a child. I know, I just can't believe he survived this whole time by himself. Yes and no, ghouls have tried to attack him.
[00:17:56] That's pretty remarkable. Yeah, that or something else is going on here. You know the zombies just like, they aren't really like kids people, you know? They're just like, you know some people that don't like them, maybe like one of those. That's true but he does seem pretty likable.
[00:18:17] I'm a little worried because George is the name of my high school boyfriend who I still really haven't had a hard time getting over. I've been in therapy about it and I'm really concerned that if we bring him with us I'm just gonna be thinking about it.
[00:18:36] Sorry, thank you. And I shoot my gun in the air. What's that noise? Oh, it's just my friend being a friend. Yes. She's my get-a-grip friend. How are you doing back there George? Are you having a good time? Yeah, I found some cool stuff.
[00:18:53] Some Star Wars and some cars. Oh, George. That's a gun. Where did you get a gun? Uh... Oh, I dropped out. You know, I was in such a hurry. That's one of mine. That one's on me. Oh, okay. Angry Adam, sorry.
[00:19:11] Yeah George, could you please give that back to Angry Adam very carefully? Make sure not to accidentally turn the safety on. I like to keep it off. Okay. That seems like a good thing to do. Oh! Okay. Yes, maybe just put it on the ground George.
[00:19:28] Put the gun on the ground. It is normal. You just shot one of the Lego sets. George, you shot the Lego set. Don't you blame this on Angry Adam young man. Okay. George, are you sure there's no other people here? Because someone's keeping the power going and
[00:19:46] someone's keeping the lights on and... How are you doing that? I'm not. I didn't even notice it. Hmm. Okay. Even the ferris wheel is still on. Crazy mall to be on the outskirts of town. Maybe we need to do a little bit more searching around.
[00:20:04] Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. Okay, let's stay together. No Adam, you can't give him back the gun. Go protect him. Adam, he seems responsible. George, just... Here's a knife. Have you ever held one of these? Yeah. Oh, okay. I'm in scouts.
[00:20:25] I fell a couple of pocket knives. Okay, well... That's impressive. You're gonna need this. Where are the apocalypse? Okay, here's a door. Let's go through it and see maybe there's... It looks like a service door. Maybe there's something back here. It's very dark back here, but I do...
[00:20:40] Does anyone have a... Who's got a flashlight? Oh yeah, I got it. Oh yeah. Sorry, I was still kind of thinking about the Lego T-Rex. Is that it? Alright, I'll just turn on it. Thank you. Do you hear that?
[00:20:53] Sounds like a lot of whirring, like a computer machine or something back there. Okay, let's go towards the sound. Maybe it's a generator or something. Oh, that makes sense actually. I can't believe we hadn't thought of that. Alright, let's... Maybe they got some gasoline back here.
[00:21:12] Oh, why do we need gasoline? To keep the firetruck going. How do you know about the fire truck? I saw you through the window. You were watching us? You knew we were coming? No, I just heard some noises and I looked outside the window.
[00:21:27] Did you think it was your parents? Yeah, sort of. Oh, we're sorry about that. We probably should run this iron like a little bit less. Yeah. Okay, the whirring seems to be coming from behind this other door. Adam, can you kick it in? Yeah, yeah, I'm on it.
[00:21:50] Whoa, George, have you ever seen somebody kick a door down? No, only in movies. Well, welcome to the movies, kid. I guess you already were kind of at the movies. I joked this. Alright, let's just move on. Look over there in the corner. There is a generator.
[00:22:09] Oh my god. Oh, okay. And there's... Oh! There's a dead body! Oh. Oh, I think his forehead is pressing on the on button. What? What? Oh no. Is it... Is he angry at him? Yeah. Can you go make sure he's, you know, actually dead?
[00:22:31] Yeah, I'm just gonna shoot him. Angry at him? What if he had been alive? I don't know. Not anymore. What if he was asleep? You guys, I saw the on switch went through his brain. I'm a medical professional. You trust me. Oh, okay.
[00:22:51] I didn't realize it went through. It's dark in here and I don't have my glasses with me again. Oh, oh Margaret. We went back especially to get them at the hospital. You should bring them with you, Weave. Wrist our lives for those glasses. It's really hard to put...
[00:23:03] You need to stop leaving them in the fire, George. This is really... It's really hard to put... Maybe! Glasses on with a hook hand. Maybe somewhere in the small there's a chain. A glasses chain and we can keep them around your neck.
[00:23:14] I agree, we should probably stop at a lens crafters. Yes, my Nana had one of those. Oh, the power's still going? Okay, so the generator's here. But George, sweetheart, I'm really worried that if we leave you, you're just gonna be here waiting for your parents.
[00:23:35] Yeah, maybe I should come with you. Oh, huh? I have to talk to Adam and Margaret. So can you just... Let's get away from this dead body on the dead radiator. Yeah, it closes both of the doors. Yeah, I mean... There is no door. Pretty loud. Oh yeah.
[00:23:53] Okay. Yeah, it's pretty loud. Maybe we should walk out a bit. It's really loud in here. Yeah, okay. George, why don't you go over there? What does a kid like? There's a... Chips! Yay! Cacota! Yes, get your fill! Just fine on the ground, okay? Yep.
[00:24:13] Okay, he's just under the pop machine. Um, okay, you guys... Ahhhh... Can we... Are we ready? Are we ready for a kid? I mean, normally children enter the stories in like season five when the... Yeah. When a TV show is taking and I think we're...
[00:24:32] That seems like a bit of a narrative leap. We are on a bit of a high right now. That's true. We also haven't really talked about having kids. Um... That's true. Are we in a good place for this right now? I don't know that... I think sometimes...
[00:24:51] Parenthood just happens, Margaret. I don't know that... There's sometimes it's just a miraculous miracle that... I honestly never... I never knew that I could have. And I have to say... My parenting, my mother instincts are really kicking into high gear and I'm thinking maybe this is my chance?
[00:25:10] Um... It'd be like a little me. A little you. Another angry at. We could call him Grumpy George or... I don't know, the illiteration's not all there. No, George Gorgeous... We have his whole life to figure this out. Oh my God! Are we gonna do this?
[00:25:31] Are we gonna be parents? I think we are. We don't have a choice. In reality, I don't think his parents are coming back. Hey guys, I brought you some snacks. Oh, thanks. Wow! I was hungry. How did you know? I don't know. I just...
[00:25:47] thought you would like some snacks. Oh... Gosh. That's a very good read. George, what a sweet boy. Hey George, check this out. Throw my gun in the air and... Ooh, okay, that's a little bit of a misfire but... George, I'm angry. I don't be careful.
[00:26:07] There is a child here. Sorry. That'll be fine. Everybody down! What the heck was that? I don't know. Everybody get down! Okay, I'm getting down. I'm getting down. Excuse me? What are you doing with my son? Um, we're just... Daddy, I'm so happy to see you.
[00:26:27] Is mommy there? Mommy's in the car. Come on and grab the supplies and we gotta get out of here. Who are these freaks? I'm freaks. They're just people that came to the mall. They're trying to get to the safe zone.
[00:26:40] I'll have you know I'm very cool and normal. I can't believe George's parents came back! Wow, what a... That's amazing. Excuse me sir. Um, yeah. What is your name? My name is Tim. And uh, that's all you need to know. Thank you for looking after my son here.
[00:27:00] But uh, we were getting supplies. The wife and I and now we're heading to a safe zone too. Where's your safe zone? We're going to California. I hear it's safe out there. I saw him out with a big circle. I think we saw that map too. Georgie?
[00:27:15] Georgie, are you ready to hit the road? Yeah. See you guys. Maybe we'll see you in the safe zone. Yeah, maybe we will. Yeah kid. I hope you've learned something today, Jim. Okay. I don't know what, but probably learned something.
[00:27:29] George, can you tell us three things we taught you today? Margaret, this isn't reading rainbow. Well, learning never stops. Just because you've left the classroom doesn't mean you can't learn something. Um, I learned cool gun tricks. Very safe. I learned uh, not to eat junk food. Very good.
[00:27:52] Mm-hmm. And I learned don't talk to strangers. Oh, maybe he didn't actually learn that one, but we'll give it to him. I think we were great, but anyway. Um, Tim. Yeah. Do you mind not pointing the gun at us for a little bit? We're clearly not dangerous.
[00:28:13] Okay, sorry. It's just the hook arm really threw me and then when I walked in here to get my kid, that guy over there was throwing a gun at him. So like, forgive me for just jumping the conclusions. I'm just a real protective dad.
[00:28:25] I thought it was a pretty normal gun trick. Fair enough. The realm of gun tricks. George. What? We're going to miss you little guy. Okay, maybe I'll see you later or something. Maybe. Yeah, no. There'll be like a little montage in my brain of this day probably.
[00:28:46] George, I'm going to give you another little cuddle and then you really should get out to the car where your mom is probably worried. Okay. Oh, I'm going to get in. Well, no, I'm not used to this hook. This is too much emotion. I got a good super-wills.
[00:29:03] George, we got to go. Your mother's in the car with your sister and, uh, you know, we got to hurry. Hurry up, Georgie! Okay. Coming. I'll see you, George. Remember what I thought. Bye, George. Hey, goodbye, guys. Bye, George. Oh, wow.
[00:29:20] I can't believe his parents came back, but I have to say, I mean, as much as we said we were ready for parenthood, like I think we dodged a bullet. Yeah, I am not ready. He should have been more ready for the gun tricks.
[00:29:34] I didn't think he was going to pick them up fast enough. Um, I do like one idea he had though. Let's stay here tonight. Yeah, let's get some camping supplies and maybe raid some snacks. And you know what? Maybe we could watch a movie. Yes, a movie.
[00:29:52] You know where I've always wanted to work? Panda Express. I could finally go back there and just see what the magic really is. Yeah! All right. On the express train, Panda Express. Choo-choo. Attention shoppers, don't miss out on our great deals.
